WHERE IS MY CHEESE?

WHERE IS MY LAND?

Who took it away, away../

Or  in reality land was never mine.

Is it my fault? Was it my choice?

Am I a perpetrator? or a victim of history.? or seller, broker of my own land?

Or just a a person who happened to be there?

It happened in a tiny place in Estado da India.

Misleading to translate it as State of India.

But so it was historically known.

Once it meant territories after crossing cape of GOOD GOPE

Some even included the sea, besides the land.

A WILD PRESUMPTION –of power that  believed the world was theirs

as a resident in the territory called Gaonv? .

My ancestors registered our family in village records.

 as GANVKAR  and then  due to climate and other factors went to sleep.

AND  WENT TO SLEEP  .

Mean while some others tried the level best  to penetrate the  system.

From here as well as far as Europe.

A few succeeded .

It was recorded in DOCUMENT  CALLED  FORAL

WE CALLED IT our MAGNA CARTA.

SURE THAT our  Rights   HAD ACHIEVED IMORTALITY.

WAS IT SO? OR FAILED JURISPRUDENCE  on which our  ancestors relied??

TODAY MY IDEENTITY IS QUESTIONED.

Did I really have one?

Was that a dream ?

A Autonomous village system _ ( an ancestral dream?)

Some were other  patriots -who loved their country-   a product of times. 

Some were influenced by the grandeur of  judgements and of law. 

For some it was sounds of history and law

that rumbling thunder in indian skies.

in line and tune to those greats .

Question 

Is it times for Indian jurisprudence to reflect . the different dimensions of Constitutionalism?
 

COLOURS OF GIVING

MORE TO GIVE.

There are several dimensions that can be attached to the word Give.

Give says the mother and the child learns first emotions correlated to  giving.

Sometimes the child refuses to part.

Children do it often with strangers.

But let  go in favour of their mother.

Some refuse to give 

And  learns emotion of sulking.

Give until it hurts ,says the preacher.

He has indicated the breath and depth of giving.

Give me more, asked a famished beggar child.

I HAVE GIVEN YOU SAYS THE RICH LADY.

That is the abuse that one faces with charity  adds  her husband.   

When requested for a measure of rice.

Give a measure full to the brim says –proverbial  Goan habit.

There are so many organs that can be spared from a  corpse

In a  huge academic exercise.

May be through webinars ,seminars and conferences

At historical , scientific and other levels,

Involving world wide  historians, social scientists, and other voices that matter.

Using excavations, fossils and other equipments,

Shipwrecks , coins, treasures , fossils

Taking due care  to extract  out ,

Weeds  if necessary .

The cacophony produced

   the other voices that dominated history.

Manipulating it to serve certain interests.

Project may be paid , voluntary , or others

However that take care of independence of approach.

Where talent is not for sale.

But objectivity as been adhered  too.

To be true to himself?.
